Biography

Dusty Griffith

Board of Directors

I have been a Tooele County resident all of my life. I started my professional career in the education system working for Tooele County School District and enjoyed many great years there. The real to life education experiences and opportunities I had while working in information technology there fostered the love for education that will be with me throughout my life.

After many years there, I decided to further my education and skills set through a business management opportunity in Healthcare Administration, where I am currently positioned.

My experience in the education system is what has helped me use my skills as building blocks and continue to grow and adapt in my current line of work. It is because of this that I am excited to be a part of Scholar Academy, so that these same educational opportunities are not only provided to my children, but for all of Tooele County. I feel that the educational opportunities presented by Scholar Academy are the forward thinking methods needed to prepare our children for the future.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Rena, my three wonderful children and other family members, playing golf, working on home improvement projects, and learning new things.
