I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Utah State in 2013. The 2018 school year will be my 3rd year in 1st grade and my 4th year teaching. I love teaching the little ones. It makes me so happy to see the progress they make through the year! I enjoy getting to know my students have a personal interest in their success.
Before teaching, I was a stay at home mom to 3 little girls. They are not so little anymore and I find myself in a house full of teenage girls! Needless to say my husband and I enjoy getting out on dates! I like spending time with my family, going to the movies, traveling, exercise, camping, reading, watching survivor, listening to country music and of course the rocking 80's bands.
I am looking forward to another awesome year in 1st grade!!

Hello! It?s so exciting to be a part of the Scholar Academy team! A little bit about me:
I grew up all over the place, living in Kansas, Texas, Utah, and Colorado. I consider myself to be ?from? Denver. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2005 and did my student teaching in Las Vegas, NV. I taught third grade in Las Vegas for 9 years. My husband, Josh, and I moved to St. George, UT two years ago, and I stayed with the Clark County School District teaching third grade in Bunkerville, NV. I have two dogs (an Australian Shepherd - Leroy and a 3-legged poodle mix - Scooter) and two cats (black - Fidget and tabby - Bolo) I love to read, listen to music, play piano, watch Disney movies, go to the beach with my husband (ANY beach, it doesn?t matter), and be crafty.
