My name is Elizabeth Bulkley, and I can't wait to be your teacher. I grew up in a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and then moved to Las Vegas after college. My husband Paul and I relocated in 2014 to Tooele. I have been teaching for 17 years. I have taught first, second, third, and fourth grade! I have a technology endorsement. I also have my administrative endorsement. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 5 wonderful children! I love to watch science-fiction movies, read mystery novels, and enjoy nature. I love to sing, and you might catch me singing in our classroom! I love technology and I encourage all my students to work hard and take advantage of every day that we will have together. I look forward to meeting you this August and I am excited for our adventure to begin this fall at Scholar Academy.

Hello everyone! My name is Heidi Forsyth. I am so excited to be teaching 4th Grade at Scholar Academy. I love working with children and I cannot dream of a better career than teaching. I grew up in Sandy, UT and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1995. After I obtained my Associates Degree, I took some time off from school to be a wife and a mom. When my son started school in 2010, I decided that I wanted to go back so that I could teach. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2012 and graduated with high honors (Summa Cum Laude). Since then, I have worked as a Math specialist, Kindergarten teacher, a reading tutor, as well as a Title I Coordinator. Teaching is my passion and I believe in making learning an exciting and positive process. After all, Teachers, who love teaching, teach children to love learning. I cannot wait to meet all of my new students and their families during my second year teaching at Scholar Academy. Together we will have a fabulous year!

Hi! I'm Mr. Pratt! I am excited to be teaching at Scholar Academy. Here's a bit about myself:

I was born and raised in Davis County. I went to elementary school at Cook Elementary where I was a member of the Spectrum program, a program for gifted students. I took up many extracurricular activities through my schooling. I was a member of our football team as well as a two-time state placer in wrestling. Maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.9, I was awarded the Academic All-State my senior year. I graduated top 5% of my class from Clearfield High School in 2001.

I was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. I spent a majority of my high school Mondays and several weekends throughout the year participating in scouting activities. I was able to achieve the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Another pastime of mine was my involvement with a community theater, the Terrace Plaza Playhouse. I spent countless hours participating in more than fifty shows. A few of my favorite roles were Asher in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Daniel in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. With more than 20 years experience on the stage, I broadened my theatrical experiences by taking up the technical side of it as well. I was an adviser for the tech crew at my previous school, and have worked with Clearfield and Syracuse cities on a few of their productions.

I taught 6th grade for seven year at the Syracuse Arts Academy. During this time, I met my beautiful wife who moved me up to Tooele to start a brand new life and adventure. I am excited to be working at Scholar academy and can't wait to get the new year started!
